Party Time...

Today we are celebrating my birthday, and this is me getting ready for the party.

We went to a spray park.

The water was a little cold but the sun was hot.

Flowers and pudding...

This is me enjoying chocolate pudding.

This is me putting the flowers daddy bought me for my birthday in the vase.

They were tickling my nose but they are PURPLE! When daddy handed them to me after my nap I said, "Wow! Purple!"

It's Almost my Birthday...

My birthday is in two days but I got my first present last Sunday from Grandpa Hall. It's PURPLE! My favourite colour. Mummy pulled it out to show me and this is what I did...
I think I may like this Tinkerbell if she likes purple too!

"New Bathroom"...

Daddy worked really hard on his holidays to fix up mummy and daddy's bathroom. We forgot to take any pictures before he started but here are a few of the yucky floor. By this time he had already painted the second coat (he did the first coat when we moved in) and put up the new light fixture.

Very yucky floor. It never looked clean!

New shower head, new grout, new shelf unit.

New counter and sink, re-stained the cabinet, repositioned the mirror cabinet and towel rack.

Piggy tails...

The other day I asked mummy to put piggy tails in my hair and now I wear them almost every day.

I can also wear clips now because they don't fall out as easily with my hair pulled back.

First Bike Ride...of the season...

If you click here you will see that last year I rode on the back of mummy's bike. This year daddy got a rack for his bike, so now I can switch back and forth.

Daddy's birthday...

Mummy says that Daddy is on the other side of the mountain...I'm not sure what that means but I do know that he is now 40, which is a lot of years. If I new my multiplication tables, I could tell you that his age is 20 times my age.

Balloons come in black too. I still prefer purple.

It looks better on me than Daddy!

Great-Grandmother's memorial...

Everyone in my family gathered at the memorial gardens on Bowen Island to remember my great-grandmother Eileen Thompson, who died last September. We also remembered my great-grandfather Bill Thompson. They put up a plaque in the Memorial Garden for the two of them. Mummy thought she took a picture of the plaque but apparently she didn't. Maybe next time we are there.The swan from the lagoon came by for a visit.
