December...

I forgot how busy the month of December can be. I had many things to do to prepare for the big day...
I sat down with the big guy himself and explained that I wanted a blue camera for Christmas.

I rode the Reindeer bus with Santa, Mrs. Claus and some of my friends.

We sang and ate candy canes.

I had the chance to drive but I thought I better let daddy do that.

Mummy and I did a lot of baking.

I got my hair cut.

We celebrated my cousins birthday. He's 7 now and his little brother is only 3 months.

It was a Star Wars theme.

We went to see the CP Holiday train and took food for the food bank.

It had lots of pretty lights.

We had family over for dinner.

We decorated...

and decorated...

and decorated some more!

I had my first White Spot milkshake...a very important tradition in our family!

We rode the train at Stanley Park and saw more pretty lights.

I played in the little bit of snow that we had.

I tried on my new Christmas dress.

I posed in front of the tree with my snowmen friends.

I helped mummy and daddy take pictures of Santa and all the kids at the ward Christmas party.

Did you know that Santa also speaks Spanish?
And all this just to lead up to one day...one very important day!
Merry Christmas!

Back in November, Mummy and I went to the Vancouver Aquarium. Mummy told me we would see some fish and boy was that the understatement of the year. We saw lots and lots and lots of fish. I got to see the Baby Beluga that I am always singing about and I also saw some dolphins do a show. You can see two belugas in this picture.

I think this is the teenager beluga...

she likes to play with the birds.

Mummy bought me some chips because we get a discount because we have a membership. I belong to the same club as all these fish. I'm very lucky!

The dolphins are very obedient!

They get a lot of snacks...they must have the same discount that we do.

Dance....

I've been so busy of late that I haven't had time to update my blog. I've been taking dance classes and they are a lot of fun. Now that it is raining lots, I might have more time to update things. Here are a few videos of me at dance class. Mummy is also going to put another one on Facebook because it is too big for here.My teacher is Miss Annette and she is very nice.

We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo....

How about you, you, you;

You can come too, too, too;

We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo.

Last year we went to Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo on Oct. 1st and we were wearing shorts. This year we went on September 30th and we were wearing our jackets.

These are gorillas that you can't see very well.

New baby cousin...

Rolley Lake...

On Labour day when everyone else was heading home from vacation we headed to Rolley Lake for a few days of camping. It was my very first camping trip and I think once I dry out, I'll be ready again next year for more camping.
Daddy is getting ready to set up the tunnel (mummy and daddy call it a tent)

Me in my tunnel.

Daddy finishing up the fly on the tunnel. I don't normally like flies but this was a good one. (This is what mummy calls foreshadowing).

I'm helping daddy build a fire to roast marshmallows.

I want to go for a walk!!!

It looks like rain so we're getting the tarps ready.

The fire didn't mind the rain too much.

It's wet out!

Our shelter from the rain.

Breakfast in the rain shelter.

Snack time in the rain shelter.

Daddy standing in the rain keeping the fire going.

More rain shelter snacks.

It did eventually stop raining and we went for a hike to the lake but the next morning we had to leave. I'm helping daddy get the air out of the mattress.

It was really fun!

Waiting for mummy and daddy to pack up.

It's been a fun three days.

This was my colouring desk.
