Hundred Acre Wood "SMACKDOWN"...

Mommy bought me a new toy. I think it's supposed to stimulate my brain but it's more fun to knock it over and watch TV.

The TV is so high up!

Victoria, etc...

On August 23rd, 2007, we left Seattle for Victoria. The ferry from Port Angeles was nice but crowded.
Victoria from the ferry.

We barely got in and out of the car.
Tastes good!

There is so much more space in here than my bassinet.
The legislature. We forgot to take a picture of the museum but the Titanic exhibit was interesting.
Worn out and grateful I wasn't on the Titanic.

My first meeting with my great-grandma Jean Strachan on her 90th birthday, Aug.24th 2007.
Dadddy liked showing me off.
My second cousins, Cheyenne and Charlotte.
This cake is huge!

Great Grandpa Strachan's bench in Langford.
The first marker of the Strachan Trail.
Somewhere between Victoria and Nanaimo.
Great-Grandpa Hall's bench overlooking a beach he cleaned up.

We waited four hours for the ferry to go home.
Crazy! I'm glad to have a break from my car seat!
We are first in line.
Are we home yet?

Lousy t-shirt....

Last summer, mommy and daddy went to Nauvoo and all they brought me back was this t-shirt.
Though I guess since they didn't know yet that I was on my way, it was pretty thoughtful.

I'm trying to figure out what these books are that mommy and daddy keep reading.

Long Weekend on Bowen Island...

This past weekend mommy and daddy took me to Bowen Island for the forst time. My Great Grandmother Eileen (my middle name) has a cabin there. It's one of mommy's favourite places.
Somebody is sitting in my seat but I'm having a nap so it's OK.
At the beach with daddy.

Mommy dipped my toes in the ocean but it was a little chilly and it surprised me.
Sunbathing (in the shade)!

Hanging out with cousins.

Sam is pretty strong to be able to roll daddy up like this.

At the pool, it was way warmer than the ocean, so I put more of my legs in than I did in the ocean.

The view from the deck.

Waiting for the ferry. The dock is around the corner.

On the ferry. One of these peaks is Mount Strachan. (Really!!!)
