Lunch Date with Daddy...

I traded hats with Daddy.

Sunday Best...

I thought I would dress like daddy for church but mommy had other ideas!

Mommy lost her shoe.
Mommy said that this is what little girls wear.

The Adventures of Mommy and Elsie...

Today was a very interesting day! We were getting ready to walk out the door to go to storytime when mommy heard water trickling in the basement and that apparently isn't a good thing. Mommy called Granny at Kirkland Metal Shop (the family water heater business), and Granny said they could send someone tomorrow. Off we went to story time, it was fun and I got a book from the library (see it in the picture). When we came home, we had lunch and I fell asleep for my nap. It seemed like I hadn't been asleep very long when we heard the doorbell, so even though I was still a little tired, I decided to wake up from my nap. Since I was up we headed to the grocery store and we shopped, we got bonus points even, we put the groceries in the car, grabbed the keys, locked the car and went to put the cart back. We get back to the car and mommy looks at the keys and notices that the car key isn't there! Uh oh! The diaper bag, wallet, and cell phone are also in the car with the car key. I tried using my key but mommy said it wouldn't work because it is for the mailbox. We went back in to Save-on and asked to use the phone, the lady helping us couldn't find BCAA in the phone book eventually we found it listed under British Columbia Automobile Association. Mommy said the lady on the phone said it could be 45 minutes, so we go outside to try and find some shade because it is about 27 celsius. Mommy said that we were very lucky that BCAA showed up in 20 minutes. We found the keys under the grocery bags and we came home. After we got home, daddy called to say he had missed the first train, so the dinner we have to cook without hot water will be later tonight than usual. Mommy says good thing our Family Home Evenings are usually only 10 minutes long and no bath for me tonight, so everything will work out! I'm tired so I might even go to bed early!!!

Rough Day...

More Hats....

As I mentioned in the previous post, I love hats!!! This is my current favourite (a.k.a. mommy's strawberry shaped colander). It is a very pretty shade of red and it fits on my head just perfectly.
See!
I like to wear it while I eat lunch.
Yummy yogurt!
I'm getting quite good at using this thing mommy calls a spoon.
What d'ya mean it's all supposed to end up in my tummy?

I also love wearing my helmet. We were playing outside and I told mommy that I wanted to keep my helmet on while I ate my lunch. She just sighed and shook her head.

This is my new Minnie Mouse hat that I mentioned in the last post. Mommy bought it one size too big hoping it will last a little while.
It has a pretty bow on one side and a picture of Minnie on the other side.

There's Minnie.

Who can wear the most hats on their head day!

I love hats! So I was very excited this morning when on Sesame Street Elmo and Zoe had a contest to see who could wear the most hats at once. They tied but I'm sure I would have won.

These are all my hats that I had at the time but I got a new Minnie Mouse hat last Saturday. We don't have a picture of it yet.

I like to sleep in my hats in my bed and on daddy's back!
Daddy's hat looks good on me!
Granny's hat was a little big!
Watching Sesame Street a couple of weeks ago.
Who turned out the lights?
I even wear my hat in the bath!
Hee hee hee!

Next Olympian...

We forgot to post this video of me swimming with mommy on Bowen island.

The Flower Princess...

Her Royal Highness brushing her teeth.

A Little Dizzy...

I was having fun with daddy but I got a little dizzy and I had trouble walking, so when all else fails...CRAWL!

The Big People Table...

I was a little tired of my high chair, so mommy let me sit in daddy's chair to eat my lunch the other day.

Good Hand-me-downs...

My Great-Grandparents and my Great-Aunt Nancy went to Europe when my mommy was a baby and they brought back this Swiss top for her. Now I get to wear it.

No I'm not filling my diaper!

The Shirt Off His Back...

I spilled water all over me at dinner, so daddy gave me his shirt to wear.

Amazing Vinegar...

Mommy says that vinegar is very cool even though now whenever she smells it she thinks of my diaper pail. Anyway here is a cool website listing many uses for vinegar as a cleaning agent.
The Vinegar Institute

Hurray for Sesame Street...

This is me watching Sesame Street. Mommy likes it when I watch Sesame Street because she has an hour to get things done.
